hi everyone. i wrote a poem! (surprise!) let me know what you think...probably needs a revision or so.

The Suicide Of God

A sadly sunny sunday-
Bird's sand like Pan's flute,
Apollo pissed light onto trees,
and flowers bloomed like Hera's rage-
as the church bells tintinabulated
with the rhythmic onomatapoeia of obituaries.
Dressed as prowlers in the night,
a procession of doleful feet
wearily plodded from betwixt
the salty red doors
painted pure, chipping white.
Once more,
they'd come to partake
in the pious, euphamistic Word of God,
and, once more,
their ears rang with the sound--
silky, smooth and fictile--
of Preacher's pounding voice--
the widening ulcer
of loki's mischievious whispers.
As they slammed car doors
and sped home for anti-Jewish pork,
God, our Yahweh and Allah, put a gun
to his down-pouring raincloud countance
and blew his brains out--
splattering Jesus's thorny crown
with sinless blood and holy brains.
The evening news ran a special
on the history of monolithic figure heads--
"God is dead...
A shocking look at suicidal dieties."
