She swallowed, willing to drop down to her knee's and beg if she had too. "Please." She didn't know if Kaleb had ever mentioned her to any of his friends where he worked, if they even knew he was serious about someone now...but anyone could see that this woman was completely devoted to the man laying their on the stretcher.

One medic gently pushed her away as he went about his work - trying to get his coworker set to ship off to the hospital - but another, a young woman who knew Kaleb well and had heard him talk about his beloved girlfriend, took notice of Gabby's pleas.
