Day by day she was becoming more and more comfortable with the presence of the baby - presence, that was all she could accept still, but she was learning - she didn't look at him like he was an alien anymore - in fact, she thought he was kind of cute - and she had handed him his soother one time when it had fallen out of his mouth. It was a huge step for her, and she was quite proud of herself - enough that she felt that their trip up the coastline this weekend was a great reward and was even taking care to pack something besides just a duffle full of clothes that may or may not be dirty - but had passed the sniff test. She stood above her bed with a larger than usual duffle bag half full of clothes and the phone held between her cheek and her shoulder, waiting as the phone rang in to Andre.

He was srtuggling with packing for himself and packing for the baby- there seemed to be a million and one things to pack , Luckily Donna was due to arrive with her stuff in an hour or so so she'd help gather the essentials he'd forgotten while he went to pick Ais up. The car was pretty much already packed up with his board and a spare and food and alcohol and other such things. "String bikini or tankini? There's a hot tub somewhere, right?" She had already launched her talking before she realized that the baby was screaming near directly into the phone, and was holding the bathing suits in question, one in each hand. She stopped, pausing a moment when she heard Aaron crying. "Bad time, huh?" She set the bathing suits down, put the phone in her hand, switched ears and sat down on the edge of the bed, waiting for him to tell her it was a horrible time for her to be calling. He smirked a little at her question- despite his current situation "String... definately..." It would be too cold to wanter around in a bikini or swim in one- but there was the hot tub- int he aved there'd be in wet suits. "You bet there is.. so definately no call for a tankini." He grinned a little, bouncing Aaron a little and getting him to quieten down a little "You nearly done? I havent even packed yet..." She sighed a little, relieved as the baby started to quiet down, and looked at her bag. "Pretty close to done." As she spoke, Duke wandered into her room, climbing onto the bed and onto the clothes she hadn't put into the bag yet - he had been sooking as he was staying with Dallas for the weekend because she figured things would be stressful enough with the two extra passengers let alone a dog. "Duke, off the clothes." She mumbled, rubbing her fingers over her eyes. She was a bit nervous, truth be told, for their first little 'trip', but if she was going to spend any time with them in Hawaii, she had no choice but to buck it up and get used to it. She laughed a little bit, twisting the end of the single french braid that hung down the middle of her back over her shoulder, searching the end of it for split ends but giving up after a few seconds. "You talk like you've never been away from home for a weekend." The both of them had had somewhat transient lifestyles, so she, at the very least, was well accustomed to packing a bag and hoping she had enough, but not stressing over it because she always, somehow had the right number in her head and got it right. He'd been away from home plenty of times- but never with a girlfriend and a baby in tow. He felt kind of bad about not bringing Duke along- but perhaps it was for the best for this one time. His brow furrowed a little at her instructions, amused by her reckoning but merely laughing a little "Alright... I'll see you soon... and remember- no tankini... string bikini all the way" He grinned again before hanging up, tossing the cordless phone onto the bed and taking up Aaron in both arms, soon quietening him completely.
