Again, she felt like she'd found a lump in her throat that she couldn't swallow and so swallowed and swallowed again, her eyes drifting to Aaron, fast asleep in his car seat, completely oblivious to what was going on. She hit the disconnect button on the cell phone mid conversation with the owner of their favorite bistro by the water and then rose, a bit shakily, even though it felt like her limbs were lead.
