It was an excellent movie, but I think it's one of my favorites for more sentimental reasons. I saw it in the movie theater in its initial release (okay, now you can figure out my age) as part of a summer activity series at my local rec. So, I got to see it before all the hype, and I had no idea what I was going to see. If I had known it was science fiction, I would have never gone ("ooo, yuck, science fiction, that's boring") and missed an absolute blast of a movie.
