I have decided to keep my subscription to Anarchy Online going. After playing around with it for a week I just didn't wanna let it go.. it is very fun, and I like being a clueless nOOb there.

A big plus to me is that rather than quests, you generate random, personalized missions to go on, and can influence the typ of objective greatly with criteria sliders, etc. It is your mission and yours alone, nobody else in there messing it up.. unless you copy the key to it (easy to do with a duplicator item from the store) and then you can bring friends in. Then, there are team missions specifically you can generate.

No more waiting in lines, no more spawn camping for the most part. Ahhh. There are SOME static dungeons with items that get camped but no real need, it seems, to get em unless you want.

The character type I chose, at later levels, can transform into a wolf, bird, sabre-tooth tiger or dragon. You can buy and use land, sea and air vehicles.. you can make weapons, armor, etc.

The graphics are stunning. Way beyond AC, by far.. the details in the cities, terrain, weather effects.. I'd say you need 256 ram minimum to really crank the detail tho and get it. The characters look GREAT. If someone has a place I can host em, I'll send along some screenshots I have taken. :)

I got into it because they have a free 7-day trial and you can download the client. There are 2 servers at the moment, I am on Rubi-KA 1, and I chose Clan rather than omni. There's a great storyline going on involving the conflict there.. but if anyone wants to get curious and poke around, look for me in Clan lands on rubi-1. I have a few characters but "Gudmunder" is my main there.

I am still enjoying AC, chatting, running around helping friend etc but it is also fun to have another game around which I don't know everything about.

I'd really dig sending some screenshots.
