Granted, I do not have any vassals who are not also my patrons :) but, had I, I would do something a little bit different here. I really appreciate the "programs" that Doc and some of my other patrons have worked out with me for various items (i.e. if I came up with one bar for my first atlan, Doc said he'd supply the second bar), and I hope to be able to do such things for my potential future vassals also.
Not only that, but I think that, in great part - and this, too, is something that I have formed by Doc's great patronitude (hehehe, couldn't say patronness because that would just not be right ;)) - it behooves me to keep my vassal well supplied (within reason - it's also important that a vassal is responsible and self-sufficient to *some* degree, especially in higher levels) because of the xps that are passed up to me. That means *giving* my vassal some of the armor, weapons, protects that he/she needs, and keeping my eye out for things for him/her because what benefits him/her, eventually benefits me also.
