We seem to always be suffering from stranded stalled cars on the grid, which need the assistance of an external jump battery to fire up. I know that starter size etc is an issue on A Class cars but if all that apparently is needed is the extra oomph of a (small) external jump battery maybe we should have a rule to specify a minimum Ah battery capacity to ensure we reduce the incidences of aborted starts next year? Even if it takes a little time to fit a slightly bigger battery I think it would be helpful as I'm sure race officials must be getting annoyed that every ARP start seems to have some sort of stalled car unable to restart itself drama?
