While most of your words were harsh, Blue, I have to agree, I'm not liking this silly feel to Angel, I watch Angel because it has a somewhat dark feel to it, unlike BTVS, where it's usually light and filled with characters that are too silly and go happy for my tastes. There aren't any serious characters in BTVS like there are in ATS, where each character has their own history, conflict and background and problems that they have to over come.

And I guess these latest episodes are to kinda give the Fang Gang their moment in the spotlight after having been cast out in Season Two with the Darla arc. I also get the feel that the FG are getting their own episodes so that way they can have their time in the spotlight before the serious stuff starts happening-when Darla returns, Holtz and the Big Bad of this season. (actually one thing I notice that Angel really doesn't have one main enemy that he has to kill, where as Buffy, there's one Big Bad after another in each season)

So what's my point? That this silliness will eventually wear off because David and Joss are just trying to even things out for the characters because hopefully, things will get more Darla and Angel centered later on in the season what with the baby and all.

PS: When are you going to get part 4 of Life of my Light up? Cuz I'm dying to read more.
