Thank you for the welcome. I realize this board isn't exactly chatty, so I just wanted to let you know that someone on the net is actually reading what you write. You're a very good writer and if I may ask are you the same Pilgrim Soul who used to hang out on the ASS board?

I understand you're apprehension concerning this baby plot. I want things to turn out for the best for Darla and baby, and I would love to see the baby bring out Darla's humanity.

I'm hoping for that kind of storyline too. After That Vison Thing, it is obvious that Darla doesn't want the child, but I fanwank it to the idea that as of now, Darla doesn't know what kind of being that's growing inside her. To her, getting pregnant is impossible, so in her mind she could be breeding demons or some kind of ugly creature. Right now, my gut feeling is that the baby is human and I don't think it is evil. If it were evil, it would have burned or killed that shaman who tried to get rid of it.

I've been thinking, a whole episode had Darla's name on it. The last time a character in the Buffy/Angelverse got his name on an episode was Angel, himself. Angel, as we know, went on to have a huge impact upon Buffy's life. I have a feeling that the writers are going to make Darla the biggest impact upon Angel's life past and present.

My feeling is that the writers are trying to portray Darla as the ex-wife from hell complete with kids and alimony. Angel doesn't have to fall in love with her all over again, but he does have a connection to her that cannot be staked away, I hope.

I started to re-watch Angel, and Darla was portrayed as the ex-girlfriend. I cannot tell you just how hard it is to reconcile this young girl (Buffy) falling in love with Angel after all we know now. At the time I was okay with Darla being staked offhand. Now, if she's staked, I want tears, recriminations, and sorrow.

>over this baby. It's just a feeling.

I've been having the same feeling too. This kid wasn't supposed to happen, but he did. That more than anything tells us that he/she is crucial in the fight between good/evil.

It's nice to meet you, too, Blue. I look forward to seeing more ep reviews and theories from you.
