Well, take cover because some fans just won't let it go. All Darla has to do these days is make one small appearance and all of a sudden it's ALL about Darla.

Well, frankly, it sort of is.

The show is called Angel, but who brought him forth?

Darla.

I think Mari hit it. The reason why some fans don't like Darla is because they feel she's a threat to their prospective ships. It also doesn't help them like her that she's so important in Angel's past and life.

Alas, I used to get really upset over this, but not anymore. I took action and created this site because frankly there should be one damn it.

I think there are plenty of Darla fans out there but they are afraid to say anything or just don't really see the point because they don't care what others think. And this is only in regards to the internet community though that also frequents plenty of popular Buffy and Angel lists and such.

If you go to thewb.com and check out the feedback in Julie's section it's overwhelmingly positive.

So yeah, I pretty much take anyone that speaks *too loudly* or complains about the character over and over again, not very seriously if they don't give just reasons.

My favorite complaint is "her voice annoys the heck out of me" and "that skanky ho."

Man, is that ALL you can come up with?

Give me something that actually has a reason.

In regards to the "lack of Gunn, Wes, and Cordelia" last season, well, I kind of don't see it except for the "lack of Gunn." Darla was only the main focus in 5 episodes out of 22. Others she made small appearances in. Everyone has their own taste though or watch for the supporting cast, but since I watch the show for Angel's story, I didn't mind.

But if there was any lackage, I don't blame Darla. She was pivotal to the arc and if the writers felt like the other characters were getting slighted (which I think they got practically the whole second half of the season to themselves) then they could have written more scenarios to involve them in.

And please no more Pylea type of stories unless they concern the arc in a much *better* way.

*sigh* too tired now.
