~she knocks on the door quietly, but loud enough to be heard over the clanging of the metal-working. She knew the fire was blazing, could probably say what temparature it was at, how high it was, and how fast something would melt in it, at that second, sensing it inside the building. A small cat had skittered after her and was climbing her shoulder, despite her protests.
She hoped the man would be in a decent mood, for she had a request to make... She wondered if he'd like an apprentice... She knew it was one of the few careers she'd be any good at, she had a magic with fire, which led her straight to the armory. With a snap of her fingers she could make a nice forge-fire, put it out, or even shape the fire with a few simple hand-gestures. She also didn't mind fire, or extreme heat... She could mold and bend things at extreme temparatures without being so much as slightly burned, or reach a hand into fire without being bothered by it. She sighed. It was just another of her odd talents. She waits patiently, prying the Siamese kitten from her shoulder and scolding it for following her before cradling it in her arms, keeping it warm in the cold of the winter~
