Subject: Botticelli vs. da Vinci

The main difference I can see in da Vinci and Botticelli's works is their use of characters. Botticelli has the picture packed end to end with people, making it seem very crowded and full of action. In their actions, you can sense the subjects' emotions. Da Vinci uses only a few characters. Still, he is able to convey the emotions of the characters through their simple gestures and facial expressions.
