Marist doesn't run "plays" out of the Dribble Drive Motion offense they run "sets" which are basically formations and initial movements. I think this is a huge reason why Marist has looked bad at the end of close games like against Siena and Columbia. I like that the offense encourages players to be creative but at the same time it makes it awfully easy for the other team to key in on one player if no one else is contributing.

They are a very good home team and a team that struggles to win on the road. Most of us thought they would even look decent this year. They have made great strides. 7 wins in the MAAC this year would be a great job by the staff and players. They are in every MAAC game this year basically and took the undefeated Saints to the brink. They also beat the second ranked team in the confernce at home. They also beat a good Iona team at home. Schneider is not a superstar, he just plays his heart out. Maybe he was covered well by the other team. I would rather someone take the shot who might be open rather than have Schneider force shots.
