(Her eyes scanned over him as he stood there, her gaze hidden by the sunglasses. He was a beautiful man.. not rugged or rough, but refined and beautiful. He had a strength about him that had drawn her to him immediately, and yet he knew how to present himself in a way that showed off every line and curve of his body. She wasn't immune to his looks, his charm or his presense.. adn that really annoyed her since he seemed to want to just be her friend and protector. It hurt, because she had glimpsed more.. and one night had changed her life for the worst and she didnt know if she could ever go back. The way he opened doors and held out his hand for her, laying his hand on her back to guide her and asking her about her thoughts on things.. well, it made her feel wanted and special.. though she told herself the whole time that he was just being Skeeter and would have acted this way with an 89 year old woman in lime green jogging shorts. Still, it was hard to not feel that lurch of hope when he smiled at her and made her knees feel weak, just like when she had first met him. Sighing, she shrugged a little at his question.) Maybe some baked fish.. I've learned that simple is better.. the more flavors I combine the worse my odds become for keeping it down. (She returned his smile, though, and murmured her thanks as he opened the door to let her into the restaurant. Their baby was picky, adn she didn't blame the poor thing. She hadn't given the child a welcoming home, that was for sure, and it seemed like now was time for payback on that front. It was rare that the food she forced herself to eat stayed down, and that was hard because often times the vitamins were in that catagory too, and she was trying her damndest to fix things.)
