(The sudden feel of his warm both pressed against hers, his strong arms around her and his lips against her forehead.. well, it definitely did something to her. He flooded her senses, it was the only way she could think to describe it at that moment.. she could smell the spicy male scent of him, she could feel the strength and upset in him and she could taste the mixture of her tears and the dampness that clung to his skin as she pressed her face into his bare chest. A warm and nervous knot formed in her stomach, but she pushed it away because she desperately needed the comfort just as much as she was sure he needed the reassurance. As his hand moved over her back, she felt the cold start to leave her small body, and when he started to murmur into her hair, she let out a breath and pressed her tiny frame into his chest, one of her feet shimmying between his. Her hand lifted to rest on the side of his neck and she sighed, her breath fanning his chest.) Don't worry about me, Braden.. I'll be here with Kyrian and Skeeter and everything will be fine. (She murmured, knowing that the reason for her sudden strength was the fact that she sensed just how unsure he was feeling about things. She was mentally and emotionally exhausted, and she had a feeling he would be too, as soon as he let his mind quit running for a split second. It was easy to see just how affected he was by everything that had happened on that mission.. how she reminded him of that everytime he saw her.. which had to make it damn hard to be around her.. and yet here he was, protecting her and begging her to be safe. And Lord, it felt good to have a strong male figure looking out for her.. especially Braden.)
