Subject: Swan’s messages are many ….but here are a few

1. Supporter and Club expectations …when is enough time “ to show something” actually “ enough ?

Remember he played 30 games in 4 years before really evolving as a possible future regular, let alone star .

Posters have posited about youngsters after two years …” delist at years end” …I can recall for eg that being said about both Murphy pre 2023 and about Fred early this year ….yet there is a Hall of Fame boy who took 4 years to emerge .

EG …Allen / Ryan ….2nd year and we are all keen to see something , but they are 19 and managing 100s of kms from home . Time is required . Look at how we are now suddenly viewing HH and Dean is gradually evolving too

2. Same training schedule / external disciplines suits all ?

The Swan history says “ No…..tailor methods to the particular abilities of individuals” ….to an extent

3. Swan’s counter-intuitive reaction to opposing fans hooting

Last year the political correctees were running amuck . “ Booing is unfair, unsociable, offensive , unsporting” etc etc
Swan said he loved the way fans supported their teams …ours he loved and the negative responses towards him and our team , he loved it too . It’s part of the passion of this game .
