Subject: Schultz trade could easily have won us the flag IMO.

The bloke never quite got going, but his output was a bees dick of turning a few games IMO.

He made some terrible turnovers he would nver have made at Freo, but the role he was playing was completely different.

His first year for us has been on fatigued legs, he will have had a year in the gig and a now a whole off season to prepare for it again, he is a very good footy player at his best IMO and with a few extra very gettable by his standards goals and few less of the fatigue induced howlers he can be a very useful cog in our machine.

Him and McCreery are bloody important to us next year I reckon. the capacity to beat two HBF for pace and ground coverage is absolutely vital to the modern game. They both have the capacity to be elite at shutting down the influence of the Zorko's et all.

A lot of our mob could have better years than last: McStay for a McStart.

Him and the two boys above could be a genuinely threatening half forward line IMO.

No idea how long Checkers and Elliot last but those two pluc Hill still make a very dangerous full forward line when fit and firing.

Josh and Lipinski should consolidate thier respective wings next year. Lippa had a really bloody good game against the Dogs as a full time wingman opposed to Ed Langdon who is no spud. Josh can still get better and his best is Daicos like :)

Cameron Nick and DeGoey are surely all still a proposition for any opposition you would think.

Crisp probably demanding a spot in there at the moment.

Full back also right as rain. Maynard Moore Quaynor are surely at least in AA type conversations when they are playing at thier peak.

our half back line is the question for next year I reckon, just how fast and how far can the likes of Jiath, Parker, Dean, Ryan, even Eyre if he keeps a spot come on next year?

How good could any of them be?

I have liked the look of Jiath, Dean and Parker at times this year, reckon we should give them a run as the half back line whenever Howe and whoever else is back there need a rest.

Then we have a bench of the 400 gamer, the break out tagger and occasional half back flanker Rusty, the aforementioned Howe, and the ever underrated and ever undeterred utility of Hyphen.

Leaving us with somehting like:

Maynard Moore Quaynor
Jiath Dean Parker

Cameron N.Daicos DeGoey
J.Daicos Crisp Lipinski

McCreery McStay Shultz
Ellito Mihocek Hill

Pendlebury
Sidebottom
Howe
Hyphen

outside of that 22 I am most excited to see what Allan can do at the level next year. Could be a breakout IMO, big, fast, soon to be strong.

So

Allan is my 23rd player for next year.

then you have the depth of

Frampton Markov

Cox Mitchell Sullivan

Kreuger
Johnson

And the draftees and

DeMattia
Smit
Steene

Eyre, Ryan etc coming through.

I actually reckon theres no reason we can't be competitive next year.
