- Almost every single time he plays, he "does something" - often it's a goal or two in limited time after being subbed on

- Nothing he does on the footy field is "bad" - he isn't slow; he isn't a clanger king; he doesn't make terrible decisions

- He was elite as a junior

- We've been burnt by making the call too early before (Witts, Poulter, R Shaw, Keane, etc, etc.)

- His physical traits are superb (height, size, etc)

- He is yet to be given even a decent chance to show he can deliver in his preferred position

- There are at least 3 players on our list for 2025 who have shown even less and are essentially the same age: Long, Fin, Ryan... and also a little 'dead wood' that is nearing career end (Markov, Ash J) - Reef should be prioritised over many of these if pish comes to shove.

All of this is to say: Reef needs at least 2025 to show us whether he can become the gun we thought we were drafting.
