If we don’t win the flag in 2025
We mightn’t play finals for the following five years - a ruckman and a rover mightn’t be enough.
If Carlton don’t win the flag in 2025
They might well win the next flag.
Similarly for the other clubs you named.
That’s why we are described as all chips in. If we don’t hit the jackpot right now, we haven’t got the ‘chips’ for the next spin. All the others have.
