Subject: Violet Patterson coming to Collingwood under the father/daughter rule

I was surprised to read that he played 96 games and kicked 88 goals. Maybe I undervalued him.. I thought he would have played maybe 30 games.
In all my years of watching Collingwood, I'd nominate him as the most frustrating player to watch. Yes, I remember him being quite nippy and handy around goals at a Joe Richards kind of level. But he had none of Pendles time and space awareness. Had a bit of pace yet somehow the game seemed to speed up around him whenever he got the ball. I've never seen a player get pinged as often as Patto.
