You say “ circus freak” I will offer …Cricketer with unusual physical gifts who used and developed them to propel his results to top level.
Warne …all Australian Boy with the same mix possessed by Grimmett , ORielly and Benaud but with several differences
- he was exceptionally strong
- his leggies swung and dropped late and sup heaps …his wrong uns were wicked and his top spinners drew catches …but if you have tried to bowl leg spin …are any of you strong enough to put a flipper anywhere near a decent length co sistently
