Subject: I was in attendance. Brenna Woodson was NOT robbed. She did well but she was not robbed! Whomever over hyping her needs to stop. You clearly can’t see past the forest for the trees. She’s a lovely girl. Her dance was great not not technically clean (dance judge for many years) her on stage question was not good and while she looked great in her gown most of the other 17 did as well. She was lackluster. Hype crew may have done more harm than good. Her talent needs cleaning (dance world stuff if you aren’t in it you may not understand and that’s ok) her dress like already said was too long she was kicking each time to step in order to not trip it made her have an uncomfortable gait. OSQ was one of the weaker of the 18. Interview if you think about on stage question.. it possibly speaks to private interviews and many need work. I’ve been doing this a very long time. She has a lot of potential but she was not robbed and she is most definitely not the next state winner at this moment in time. I would not be surprised if she worked really hard and came back on top but I also won’t be surprised if she doesn’t come back because her hype crew put so much pressure on her. The experience of doing multiple prelims develops the candidate. The candidate that wins the first prelim they enter sometimes lacks in stage experience.
