Subject: Is Miss NC relevant? I'm not talking about Carrie, I'm talking about the idea. Is a 20-something with the title of Miss NC relevant? What does a 20-something bring to the table to a politician to shape government policy? She's not making a campaign contribution. What business experience does Miss NC bring to the table to be relevant in a corporate boardroom or to a corporate event? She's never held a corporate job of any stature. So I'm not sure she has anything other than an opinion, a smile and a sparkling hat. There are teens in every city that have more followers on social media and have more influence. And they didn't have to win a pageant, wear a crown or subject themselves to judgement. All they had to do was be cute, speak well and put their angles on the gram. Subject Author Date The problem with NC is that they seem to have a great talent. What I mean is that they have a talent for picking the wrong winners in both teen and miss for years now. Judges at the state level are unqualified and literally sleeping on the job. They are friends with board members and have coached some of the delegates and one of them was staying with board member. How did no one see anything wrong with this? How has there been no removal from positions? Why do we put up with the same old mess and expect different results? It is insanity.
