She moved at a steady pace. Though swift for safety, it was slow enough for the new family and the tired travelers. Her tail arched over her back and wagged as she trotted, bumping into Gavin occasionally in display of affection and trust. She stopped only once to let the smaller pup catch up. She admired Moina and her family with a tinge of jealousy buried deep inside. Though there was no outward reflection of it, she somehow felt jaded by the events. Surely it had not been Moina�s purpose to challenge the alpha on biological matters and so she kept repeating that to herself when she felt the flare of discontent rising.

The autumn had come to the mountains and the leaves danced down around the wolves in their travels. Beautiful yellows and orange leaves fell into the stream that served to Kosses as the boarder into the heart of her terrain. Moments later, with the moisture still on her paws, she sauntered into the shadow of the crumble, moss covered remains of a castle tower. The wall had long been torn down and the rubble was overgrown by bush and weed. She found a moist and cool patch of dirt and circled before lying down. Her head lifted to sniff her surroundings and once satisfied that no one had disturbed her land, let her legs sway out to one side.
