As the pups continued to play with Kosses, Moina slowly relaxed further, until she was resting on her hip, with both hind legs out to the side, a far more relaxed pose. She lay quiet, her head on her paws as she watched Kosses and the pups. Her ears swiveled constantly, keeping up a silent, but vigilant guard. Gavin never once settled down completely, hyper aware of his surroundings, and that while they were in pack territory... they weren't at the core.. at the safest place.
When Kosses finally pushed to her feet, Moina raised her head and watched her alpha, and Gavin turned his attention away from their surroundings to focus on Kosses. He gave a low rumble, not a growl, but almost a whine as she rubbed her head against him, licking at her coat affectionately as she passed. He pushed from his sitting position, and waited for Moina to gather the pups and herd them ahead of her, after Kosses. He trotted up beside Kosses, staying a fraction of a step back, as was his rank in the pack. Moina and the pups lagged a distance behind them, until Stella had had enough and began whining. Without pausing, Moina lifted the pup by her scruff. A muffled woof escaped her maw, and Gavin glanced back, waiting for Ainle to catch up before he mimicked his sister, and broke into a jog... Apparently they were all tired of being on the trail.. adn just wanted to get home and rest.
