I was very young at the time of rivers death (i was only 2 or 3) but what your saying would make since. If you could contact me and tell me what book you read this out of or just send me the text it would be appreciated. I do think however that being the person John is he probablly would have come out and said something about himself being involved in River's death. (Unless he couldn't remeber it.)
