Ah yes! The blue and brown of the Jumbos! Such an odd color combination!

1986-1993 on the recent Tufts submission

pre 1986 - some kind of wrap around logo (elephant?) or a smaller and different "T"
post 1993 - stripes and definitely a different logo than previous.

I do believe 100% that the other team in the game photos is the Wesleyan University Cardinals!

As Charles has already indicated on the site regarding the red helmet for the Wesleyan University Cardinals:

"The first helmet design above had apparently been in use for many years"

That is for sure!

1975-1986: Red with black-white-red-white-black stripe sequence
1987-2010: The same but with a black facemask instead of gray

It took a long time to determine this! Weslelyn has digital yearbooks up:

Indeed its Wesleyan.

Bates has been mostly documented and was using white helmets at the time.

You are correct, sir!

With that, I thought I would try and catalog the 1960-1997 Bates Bobcats:

1996-1997: Black? with a black Face Mask with a white block "B".
1992-1995: White with a red or black block style "B". Black FM.
1987-1991: Same as 1981-1986 but with RED FMs.

1981-1986: White with red "Bates" in cursive script (different than 1976-1979 version) with white FMs.
1980: White with small, arched, red block "BATES". White FMs.

1976-1979: White with Red? "Bates" in cursive script (different than 1981-1997 version).
1975: White. Gray Fms.
1973-1974: White with red or black stripe. Gray FMs.
1970-1972: White with small bobcat head logo. Red or black stripe. Gray FMs.

1969: White with red or black oval with white "100" inside oval logo. Red or black stripe. Gray FMs.
1967-1968: Black or red. Gray FMs. Small bobcat head logo.
1965-1966: Black or red. Gray FMs.
1960-1964: Silver or gold. Definitely metallic! Primarily white FMs.

I think that is correct and hopefully this has not been covered before in a previous thread.
