... have MUCH more to do with the current deficit than anything Obama has done, especially since the GOP (which won't take the 'credit') has kneejerk obstructed practically anything he actually has tried to accomplish. Saw something the other day where 20 years of middle class wealth was wiped out in 2 years of the Bush recession. 20 years of rooked & swindled accumulated wealth simply can't be recovered in 4 years' time, plus the GOP is willfully prolonging any ascent in the name of defeating the President (& thus the Union), which steady growth in the economy IS still happening under Obama's direction.

Consumer DEMAND is the #1 prerequisite that's absolutely necessary for recovery, not 'austerity' (see Europe) or pure cellulitic cash/tax break a$$-injections for the whiny, victim-posing con artistic moneymaking megapredators at the top who will absolutely still make their profits no matter where money is injected into the economy & despite their level of taxation.
