Well, I have not worked out at all this week. I have reduced my caloric intake and have been eating healthier meals. I have been so tired lately, I dont know if it is due to flu symptoms, pms or just stress. I need to shake this off and get back to normal.

I spoke with my mom and I told her how I was going to school full time and working on average 11 hours a day. Then I was telling her how I feel if the house is not perfectly clean, there is not a good homemade dinner on the table and Manuels lunch is not packed that I feel like I failing as a wife. Although our home is small, there is so much to clean and so many clothes to wash. Manuel is not used to helping cleaning since his mother did all of those things. On top of everything else, when I do cook a good dinner or clean the house or pack his lunch I feel like he does not appreciate it and all of the planning and time it takes to complete these tasks. I really cant remember the last time he washed dishes (maybe 2 weeks ago) or the last time he cooked dinner or breakfast. I get so frustrated that I can clean the house and he does not see it as any great task completed.

My mom said I have to involve him in the cleaning and cooking and grocery shopping. And she said that I have to learn to relax if I dont get everything done, if it was that important to him, he would do it. I just feel like this natural competition to do things as good as his mother or even better.

Sylvia
