Sylvia,

I know if someone told me this that it might backfire on me so I will try to choose my words carefully. I don't want to sound like I am bragging but here goes; Do NOT beat yourself up about having fast food. I have not lost these 20 pounds by being perfect at every moment. I have been VERY FAR from perfect. Sleeping in more than I have been working out, more often than not, I do not follow the eating plan that I have set up for myself on the weekends. I think it matters most what you do the MAJORITY of the time. I get mad at myself because I think, if I had worked harder, if I actually stuck to my plan on the weekends and worked out more often, I might have made my goal by now. This is not permission for you or I to eat what we want and think that we can worry about it at the next meal but just permission to know that we are DEFINITELY going to make mistakes and going to have that occassional slice of pizza or glass of beer but we had damn well better know that we have to make it up somewhere along the line. Not to mention, you have more going on in your life than 99% of the people I know. Cut yourself some slack sweetie and SMILE!!!
