Last night I went to the grocery mart and bought tons of stuff to make a huge salad. I plan on keeping the salad in a big tupperware bowl so I can just grab salad anytime I want. I am also going to make low fat chicken and tuna salad that I put on top of the lettuce. I am hoping that this will help me eat healthier.

I cheated already today. My water is low and I ate fast food for lunch. I feel guilty about it and now I wish I had not eaten the fast food. I think I am going to call "fast food" "FAT FOOD" for now on, maybe that will detour me from those places. ;-)

Since I already blew lunch, I am NOT going to blow my dinner choices. I still have another 9.5 hours to get all of my water drank. By george, I think this journaling is really going to help me.

I remember my personal trainer told me that he NEVER leaves the house without his lunch box cooler packed with goodies. I bought myself a lunch box cooler a few years ago and I did the same thing, it worked. So I think I am going to try to do that again. I will put fruits and veggies in it along with maybe some string cheese (only one package because I am a cheese lover). Then whenever I go out and feel like I am hungry and I can reach over to my lunch box and grab a healthy snack instead of "FAT FOOD".

I also liked the part in the article about Healthy Holiday eating about counting calories like a check book. So I guess I get 1400 dollars (Calories) a day and of COURSE I dont want to waste my money (calories) on junk.
