Officers from the students union at Jordanstown University ordered the removal of an exhibition on collusion from its premises on Wednesday 2 February, saying it caused offence to staff in the union building and to students. Yet, not more than 100 yards away, uniformed PSNI members were holding a recruitment drive unchallenged.

Fra Stone, a spokesperson for An Fhírinne, and student Liam Lappin of Sinn Féin, who had invited the anti-collusion group to the campus, explained that the students' union had granted them permission to hold the exhibition but then succumbed to unionist objections and ordered it to be removed.

"It is interesting that the university had no difficulty with a PSNI stall but had difficulty with a display which showed the victims and those who were murdered by loyalists acting on behalf of the RUC," said Lappin.

The display has already been shown in the Long Gallery at Stormont, at Queens University and other institutions.
