Hey Karnstein, I was waiting for Thursday to roll around so you would find out too...

Blue, you're right: the only god damn reason they stick with these stupid Cordy-Centric plots is because they *are* safe. They have all these dark beautiful interesting plots brewing; and then, they lose their nerve and try to kill everyone off and make everything nice again. I will *never* stop bitching about the end of last season! Darla, Dru, Lindsey, and DArkAngel all disappear and then the gang goes on vacation to Pylea?? Yeah f*cking right! It was absolutely ridiculous!

And it looks like we're facing something similar to that again now.

I too will fight C/A with everything I've got. Cordelia has annoyed me to no end these past few weeks, and I'm sure that every time she's in the same room with the baby I'll start shouting 'Get the hell away from Darla's child!!' I'm not really sure what dirrection the show will take from here on: Angel v. Holtz? Angel+Friends v. Holtz+Friends? The Angel Gang fighting a bunch of random hired demons? Yawn. Angel(us)+Darla vs. Holtz-- *that* was what we all wanted to see.

The night I saw Darla commit suicide (Monday for me) and the day afterwards, I was absolutely devastated. But I thought about it a lot for the days after and decided that it was probably for the best, knowing that she had taken the situation into her own control and now would never have an opportunity to undergo the curse of vampire-character-ruinization. But I don't feel that way anymore. She should have been around for the rest of the Holtz arc. God! The more I think about it, the more it doesn't make sense-- why the hell did she die so soon???

I'll go check out the links now, thanks Blue. :)
