Good Morning, Irene! (That reminds me of a song...) Choices - the whole reason this country was founded! For freedom of expression, in ALL things. Even wonderful creatures like Glaucomys volan! My wee critters are begining to sleep more, now that daylight is diminishing. They have separated into two sleeping groups - Mike Robe takes one box, and Mini another, and the youngsters split up between them. I do not heat the den in which my friends are kept - I don't heat my bedroom, either! I think it's healthier - I never have a cold (I've probably just jinxed myself!), and only when Mini produced her pups, on Valentine's Day (How perfect is that!), did I begin to turn the heat on, in the den. The room holds at about 50 degrees, even without the heat, as it's on the east-south east face of the house, and the walls are masonery. But with the pups, I brought the room to 55 at night; daytime, there is lots of glass, and the room usually rises to 62 or so. Do you give Laddie Cuddles time out of his cage? I've found the hard way that the safest thing to do is keep the wee darlings in one room, only. How about you?
