Residential area 7C isn’t the most comfortable place to live, even on earth. Deep inside the corporate salvage community, life is tough and crime is second nature to those who don’t have cushy jobs. And I’m not even talking about those wage slaves who even have the “lucky” opportunity to work for theses faceless companies.
When you have a lot of expensive machinery, valuable artifacts, and conflicting claims on property bounty hunters have a tendency to come into play. That’s exactly what happened just yesterday. I had finally tapped into the dilapidated GM power grid and juiced up my vid-screen. Before you could say bribe for hot water I received a glimpse of my new bounty head. There was 150,000 for some activist that smashed up some machinery, and made himself a few powerful corporate enemies. This nut bag was part of the E.H.C.(Earth History Conservation) and had blown up some nice new toys made for the recovery of scrap metal near something that used to be called Carnige Hall.
So after depleting the last of my Soy Brand Soy Cereal, I loaded up and decided to dig around for some information and maybe some money too.
God I hate cold water.
