The lithe woman abruptly looks over towards the southern accented voice of the familiar male, Carson. The familiarity of the brawny young man alighted her face as she smiled weakly [from exhaustion] at him although it was sincere enough to melt your heart for the attempt and genuinity of it.
Raven hair spilled across the countenence as she turned to the waitress and asked if she could bring it to the table where the guy was sitting near the small window.
Raven clamped down on the alluminum crutches and 'hobbled' over towards the table, slowly.
Emitting a lower tone of voice -than he was used to- she greeted him with a small hello as she maneuvered around the table to an open chair, across from Carson. After the whole accident she became somewhat closed up, back to her original self. Perhaps the days had somewhat pushed her back into reality, reality that she could never have a relationship with someone, it never worked out...or she was afraid they'd turn out like her father or back away if they found out everything about her. She still thought alot about who could have possibly set the fire but she knew they'd never find out (the police) and she also thought she knew who it was - something that scared her to the extreme. A visable grimace crossed her face, everytime she thought of the horrid explanation. She just hoped He wouldn't find her now...
The young woman's mind again turned on the situation at hand as she shifted slowly in her seat somewhat uncomfortably. So many thoughts had been plaguing her mind recently.
