  • She shook her head, her brow furrowed as she looked down at the baby. "I didn't not want her, I just didn't know how I was going to be able to handle having her by myself." She shrugged a little, bouncing the child on her knee. "I am handling it alright, I guess. Not a whole lot better then I expected but we are getting by." She felt bad that Ana would never really have her father in her life but Gabe wasn't a good influence, she would get attached to him and he would take off, it was just cause her little girl pain and she couldn't let that happen.
