Her eyes evened on his after she looked up at the clock above his head. "You mean, we're sitting up at quarter to one in the morning in a slightly chilly, little to bright at the moment, uncomfortable chair having cafe to grade papers that don't have to be done by tomorrow morning?" She questioned seriously, her tone a little incredulous. She didn't aggravated by him very often but it did happen occasionally.

  • Sometimes he forgot how much she appreciated her sleep - and how little she enjoyed missing out on it for no real reason. He himself never cared much about going short on rest. At her question, he shifted a little uncomfortably, a sheepish grin lingering over his lips as he met her gaze slowly - almost a little reluctantly. "Yeah... No, no they don't... I just wasn't tired - thought I would get some work done." He admitted slowly, his gaze dropping to fiddle with his coffee mug - not unlike a guilty child awaiting his punishment. He hadn't really realized it was so late. One hand ran through his hair and twisted absently in the short messy strands as he watched her, almost grimacing.
