Arista looked over as Liani called for her, catching Kev's eye and offering a gentle smile before she felt the little girl crash into her legs, oofing playfully and sweeping the child up into her arms, making a big fuss of her as she paid for her smoothie with her free hand. It was awkward and strange to see Kevin again... but nothing she couldnt handle- it would have had to have come at some point. The last time she had saw him was when she had gone to tell him goodbye, when she had resolved herself not to be second best and leave the way clear for what he really wanted. She held no grudges to him now though... she hadn;t even as she had said goodbye... one of her good points... or failings- was that she never held grudges. She headed over with Liani in one arm and her drink in the other hand, back to where they were sitting, though she didn;t dare try and put Liani down, as her arms were clamped not around her neck and in her lush dark curls, so she put her smoothie down instead. "Hey kevin."

It was a natural thing here for his teeth to worry his lower lip for a second when he looked up. He had, in his heyday been the bad ass of all bad asses, but time had changed him, and he had always carried the childhood habit of chewing his lip when he was uncomfortable or frustrated. Uncomfortable was an understatement, but he was determined to make this be okay. He offered his best smile and nodded to the seat beside him. "Hey Arista.. did you get the news on Ky and Dom?"
