She closed up her book when he came in, a little startled out of her intense reading session before she realized it was him and smiled brightly. "Hey you!" Her southern accent was still thick and fresh as everywhere, a strange sound in these parts. Setting down her tea, she slipped her bookmark where her finger had been and put the book down on the floor by her feet, not wanting to seem overly eager about the baby because she wasn't sure how he was feeling about it still.
