"Work was... Good. It was good. Pretty busy. You should come in and hang out one of these days while you've got a little time off. Everyone's always asking about you. I bet we could sit you at a desk and you'd be signing autographs all day." He teased gently, but was quite serious about her coming to hang out with him at work - see what it was he actually did. His arm stretched along the back of the couch as he settled down next to her, his heck ducked a little as they chatted - his voice soft in the quiet atmosphere of the coffee shop. "Yeah? I talked to her earlier - she mentioned getting lunch with you... How's she doing? I haven't actually seen her for a couple days..." Really he was so relieved that the two girls were getting along so well now - what with him working with Bianca and the close friendship that they had formed through Gavin, it really made it easier that Emily was cool with her.
