Author: Emily
Subject: She frowned, shaking her head a bit as she slung her purse over her shoulder, her keys in her hand. "No, no you're right, Ethan. I am naive and gulliable and silly me to believe in fairy tale endings." She shook her head, looking down at the book in her arms and nearly scoffing at the ironic quality to it all. Who was she to think about fairy tale endings? No fairy tales she had read when she was little ended up with unwed mothers and 'love doesn't conquor all' as an ending line instead of 'happily ever after'. Her blue eyes were sad and angry at the same time, sparking a bit as she looked away from him and out the door. "I need to go home and let the dogs out."

  • "Fine..." He just let her go because he wasn't about to beg her to stay to talk to him - he would just try to catch up to her in a bit, and he would apologize, and hope that she could maybe understand then a little bit where he was coming from. They both just needed to cool off a little. He sighed quietly and slowly leaned back into the couch, crossing his arms over her chest and watching her as she went to leave. He didn't want to say anything to make her even more mad, so he just stayed quiet - calming himself down and hoping that she would be able to do the same. They had never really fought before though, so all of this was pretty foreign to him - it wasn't like he had a script to follow. (NT) -- Ethan, Thu, Jun 01 2006, 11:53pm PDT
