Subject: "Fine..." He just let her go because he wasn't about to beg her to stay to talk to him - he would just try to catch up to her in a bit, and he would apologize, and hope that she could maybe understand then a little bit where he was coming from. They both just needed to cool off a little. He sighed quietly and slowly leaned back into the couch, crossing his arms over her chest and watching her as she went to leave. He didn't want to say anything to make her even more mad, so he just stayed quiet - calming himself down and hoping that she would be able to do the same. They had never really fought before though, so all of this was pretty foreign to him - it wasn't like he had a script to follow.

  • The fact that he didn't deny any of the things she had said broke her heart just a little bit and the tears threatened to spill over her lashes so she turned quickly, heading out the door and to her car. When she got in, she spent a few seconds brushing away the tears and angerily tossing the book into the backseat, not wanting to even think about it at this point. Once she had gotten her tears somewhat under control she finally pulled out of the parking lot though she ended up not going home right away, instead she went to the stables where her horses were and spent some time there. It was always comforting to her to be in the barn with Treasure and Zephyr but before long it was getting a bit chilly and she was heading home... (NT) -- Emily, Thu, Jun 01 2006, 11:56pm PDT
