He smirked lightly at his friend before he turned back to the girl. "He drinks to much soda." He explained easily before he nodded a little to agree with her words. "I bet, very different..." His eyes dropped down to his food and fingers picked at it a little bit, feeling a touch fidgity. It wasn't like him to not know what to say to a girl but right then he was at a loss and he could feel himself slipping into a brooding, slightly depressed spiral that Luke would identify right away. It wasn't often that it happened but when it did, he could get pretty damn low before Luke dragged him out of it. He wouldn't let himself do that now though because he knew it was upset Luke and his friend was to happy right now to deal with his shit. It was part of the reason he hadn't told him yet about the betrothal because Luke was just getting into the swing of things with his girl and he didn't want to get him all worked up. "What made your family move here?" He questioned softly. It was a pretty secluded area and it wasn't like there was a lot to bring new people around. The city was very much made up of old money and a lot of people were aware of the dark underbelly that made up the couple of Italian families that hung around. Of course, a few of the families, mainly the Santino's and Montaro's, did a lot of good for the commuinity with contributions and whatnot but his family wasn't known at all for it's kindness.
