Sometimes things don't always go the way you plan, but that's life for you. Just gotta go with the flow and let the wings of faith carry you through. She'd stayed within the lands hoping one day soon Carson would cool off that temper of his and return to her, she wouldn't hide it she missed him dearly, things had been said that day that they would never in their lifetime forget or even begin to forgive themselves for, but it was time to move on. Forgive and forget, let's not relive and regret. They'd shared many wonderful months together it meant far too much to both of them to just let it go. If he ever returned to her she would without a question in her mind welcome him back with open arms. Err well Hooves.
It had taken her some time but she'd come to understand all Carson had wanted was a better place than this for his family to live, this afterall wasn't exactly the best place to raise your family. Explaining things to Phineas would soon be her biggest challenge, he would no doubt soon start questioning the acts of those around them as well as where his father was. It wasn't at all fair to him to grow up with one parent, he should have had a father to lookup to. Maybe that would change sometime soon, she kept her hopes high that he'd return to them. She wouldn't settle for anything less. She'd always known Carson had a quick temper and clearly got excited easily but that was part of his endless charm, and she loved him for who he was. He wasn't at all a bad husband, she loved and respected him, they only had the one arguement and it was neither one of their fault, he'd wanted only what was best for them, and having just brought a child into the world she was tired, cranky and a little tempermental. Perfectly understandable for a new mom. Catching the brutes scent upon the breeze Shade halted, her soft playful look that had painted itself across her features now turned to a stone cold serious stare. Nostrils flared taking in the strong very male scent. The sunny afternoon had changed just as quickly as her mood, clouds had started to move in minutes before but went un noted by the playing duo. A light rain had started, going by unoticed until the first loud crack of thunder. Lobes laced back against her skull she gathered her son and trotted off to seek shelter. Finding it in a thick patch of pines, she stood quietly with Phineas close. Licking him softly to help dry him faster, winter would be upon them soon and a sick youth was something neither of them needed. For the moment she'd pushed everything else out of mind, paying attention only to her son.
