The hotel rates in the block hotels are also less than the regular rate. No small wonder the Gaylord does not give too many. Are you saying you’d rather pay full price at the Gaylord and also a higher entry fee to pay for the event space ? Sure if you stay off site AirBnb or elsewhere you can save money on accommodation but then we are back to one of OPs complaints of getting to the venue.
