No I probably wouldn't have booked the Gaylord on my own at a higher rate but I would have liked to have been able to book my own accommodations months in advance when I could have taken time to plan rather than be forced to select from whatever overflow hotels were still available (despite attempting to book right when the block opened). The whole process is assanine.
