These are the kinds of problems CLRG needs to address along with inconsistencies in rules and standards among regions. The total number of dancers need to be split into regions that take both numbers and geography into account. The number of Irish and UK regions need to be reduced while the US and Canada need additional regions.

  • Don't forget that a section with 200 dancers has many more qualifiers than a section with 15 dancers. North American regions need to be smaller. Our region in Australia has very few dancers, most girls sections under 10 dancers and all boys sections only 1 or 2 dancers. (NT) -- -, 13:09:33 12/03/24 Tue
  • True but it is also a much smaller percentage of the competition that qualifies. -- Not apples to oranges., 13:45:37 12/03/24 Tue
