Subject: At least your TCs care. Our TC puts together shocking shows last minute with the few dancers she can pull together at the eleventh hour and gets upwards of $500 for them.

Thankfully most people are ignorant about Irish dancing and don't know good from bad so they smile and clap along even during a shambolic piece put together side stage 5 minutes before. It's baffling the same events who pay out the wazoo to have us back year after year and gush about how wonderful we are. I guess after watching the Scottish highlanders hop in place nonstop for 15 minutes, they're starved for anything remotely interesting.
